Data Center Consultation (DCC) Process
Servers or Server Room Equipment with a total dollar amount of over $1,500.00 will require a server purchase consultation as of August 28, 2014.
The consultation helps identify appropriate IT solutions, including the use of corporate services in lieu of new purchases, when new requirements arise. The Data Center Consolidation Team will help you determine whether corporate data center services can meet your needs. If so, the team will work with you to identify and develop a corporate solution (at no direct cost, in many cases, to Sandia staff and projects).
